Welcome to PetalDesk. PetalDesk is a cloud-based business management platform built specifically for flower shops and floral businesses across Kuwait, the GCC, and beyond.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users—the business owners, managers, and staff who rely on PetalDesk to run their operations.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. By using PetalDesk, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Who We Are

PetalDesk is operated by Vitali Concept, based in Salmiya, Kuwait.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you register and use PetalDesk.

3.1 Business Information

  • Business name, address, and trade license number
  • Shop location and operating details

3.2 Personal Contact Details

  • Full name of the account holder or staff member
  • Email address
  • Phone number

3.3 Operational & POS Data

As you use PetalDesk’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system, we collect transactional data including product sales, order histories, inventory levels, and supplier records. This data is used to power the platform’s analytics, reporting, and AI assistant features.

3.4 Customer Data (Your End-Customers)

You may enter data about your own customers into PetalDesk—such as names, contact details, purchase history, and preferences—for the purpose of managing your CRM and loyalty program.

You are the data controller of this information, and PetalDesk processes it solely on your behalf.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the PetalDesk platform.
  • Generate analytics, financial reports, and business insights for your account.
  • Send operational notifications and reminders via WhatsApp (where enabled).
  • Manage your subscription and account.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Improve the performance of Haya, our AI assistant.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Haya — AI Assistant & Data Use

Haya is PetalDesk’s built-in AI assistant.

To improve Haya’s accuracy and usefulness over time, PetalDesk may use anonymised and aggregated operational data—including POS transaction patterns and inventory trends—to train and refine Haya’s models.

Important: Individual identifying information about you or your customers is not used to train Haya.

The insights and improvements derived from this process form part of PetalDesk’s proprietary intelligence and remain the intellectual property of PetalDesk, even if you request deletion of your account data.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

PetalDesk does not sell your data.

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

WhatsApp Business API

If you enable WhatsApp-based notifications (such as reorder reminders or occasion alerts), relevant message content and recipient details are transmitted via Meta’s WhatsApp Business API. This data is governed by Meta’s own Privacy Policy.

Hosting & Infrastructure

PetalDesk is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Your data may be stored and processed by our hosting provider in accordance with industry-standard security practices.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your data if required to do so by applicable law, court order, or government authority in Kuwait or the GCC.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal and business data at any time by contacting us at privacy@petaldesk.io.

Upon verified request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

Exception: Anonymised operational data and AI-derived insights generated from your usage of PetalDesk—including improvements to Haya’s knowledge—are retained as part of PetalDesk’s proprietary platform intelligence and cannot be individually attributed or deleted.

8. Your Rights

As a PetalDesk user, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to Section 7).
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this document and notify you via email or in-app notification.

Continued use of PetalDesk after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
